Godfather’s Pizza collects information in several ways. For example, some personal information is gathered when you register as a customer online or when you request information pertaining to our Franchise and License opportunities. When registering as a customer online, we may ask for your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Once you give us this information, you are no longer anonymous to Godfather’s Pizza, and this information will be used to process transactions you initiate with us and for marketing purposes. When inquiring about a franchise and/or license opportunity, we may ask for your name, business name/occupation, address, phone number, e-mail address, and financial information. Once you give us this information, you are no longer anonymous to Godfather’s Pizza, and this information may be used to communicate with you.
We may ask you for information at other times, such as when you report a problem, or contact the company via the corporate e-mail address. If you contact Godfather’s Pizza online, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We use this information to resolve the problem you reported or to respond to the other reasons for which you contacted us.
When you purchase something from us online, as part of the buying and selling process we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information to enable us to complete your purchase transaction.
When you sign up for the Godfather’s Pizza® Loyalty Club (the “Program”), we collect your personal information such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and date of birth. We use this information to operate our Loyalty Club Program and to keep in touch with you in the ways you select when you enroll in the Program.
We may collect information about your mobile device, operating systems, or web browser you are using. We might look at what site you came from, or what site you visit when you leave us. If you use our mobile application, we may collect your GPS location. We might look at how often you use the mobile application and where you downloaded it. We use this information to assist us in designing and implementing marketing programs, including programs with offers specifically directed to you.
If you connect your social media account with the mobile application, we may collect information that your social media network provides to us. For example, this may include your social media ID or username, name, email address, general location, friends list, and demographic information such as gender or birthday/age. We use this information to maintain our social media networks and for other marketing purposes.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we will use that information only for that purpose.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
We collect other information about you and your use of our online services through the use of various technologies to understand more about the way our customers interact with us. These technologies include cookies, clear GIFs and log files. Because the operation of these technologies is not visible to users, we believe in being open and upfront about the way we use these technologies and their purposes.
Internet Cookies. A “cookie” is a term for a small file an online server transfers to your computer or device. When your browser visits a web page, a cookie is set with a unique, anonymous number. This number is transmitted to your computer or device and stored there. The website will use the cookie to recognize you as someone who has visited before. Some common purposes of cookies are to enhance the usability of our online services, to ensure that you do not see the same ad or message over and over again, and to measure the number of unique visitors that have viewed online content. Cookies are also used for ad reporting functions such as to learn which ads are bringing users to us. This can help us tailor our ads and enhance our websites for your needs. By themselves, cookies do not identify you specifically.
Clear GIFS. We also employ a software technology called a clear GIF (Graphics Interchange Format), also known as a pixel tag or Web beacon. A clear GIF is a tiny image your computer or device accesses when it uses our online services. Clear GIFs allow us to know which pages you visit and what services you have used.
Log Files. Like most standard website servers, Godfather’s Pizza uses log files. Log files track Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/timestamp, and number of clicks. We utilize this information to analyze trends, administer the site, prevent fraud, track website navigation in the aggregate and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Godfather’s Pizza’s primary goal in collecting information is to improve the site and provide you with the best possible experience online. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, only Godfather’s Pizza and its service providers will have access to individuals’ information. We also may do research on our users’ behavior based on the information provided to us upon registration, gathered from transaction activity, from our server log files or from surveys. This research may be compiled, analyzed or sold on an aggregated basis, which does not include information identifying individual users. Godfather’s Pizza also may share this data with business partners or other third parties.

When you are on the Godfather’s Pizza online services and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Godfather’s Pizza and its franchisees, affiliates and service providers.

We may disclose “blinded” aggregated data and user statistics to prospective partners and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Blinded data does not identify an individual person.
We will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information to anyone other than those disclosed in this policy, except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below.

We may disclose your information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating Godfather’s Pizza’s Terms of Use, or may otherwise be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Godfather’s Pizza’s rights or property, other Godfather’s Pizza website users or customers, or anyone else that may be harmed by such activities. We may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service and improve our products and services.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
Because of the global nature of the Internet, when you give us information, that information may be sent electronically to servers outside of the country where you originally entered the information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Information that you disclose by use of our online services, potentially could be collected and used by others. This may result in unsolicited messages from third parties or use of such information by third parties for their own purposes, legal or illegal.
As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, Godfather’s Pizza cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our systems.
Our website provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about you. Where indicated just click on “I choose not to receive future communications” when completing a survey or other form. Please allow a reasonable period of time for your changes to take effect.
To ensure that you will not receive recurring marketing information from us unless you choose to, we will provide you with simple instructions on each marketing email from Godfather’s Pizza for you to let us know that you have chosen to stop receiving such emails from us.
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides certain rights related to data privacy to consumers, defined as natural persons who are California residents. The categories of your personal information we collect and have collected in the past 12 months, where we obtain this information, and the purposes for which we collect it, are described in Section 1 of this privacy policy. We have not sold any of this personal information to any third party within the past 12 months. As stated in Sections 5 and 7 of this privacy policy, we may share your personal information with business partners or other third parties, but we do not presently sell this information in a manner that includes information identifying individual users. We share this information with third party service providers, third party joint marketing partners, and governmental bodies for such things as responding to subpoenas and court-ordered disclosures of information. If we change our practices to begin selling any of your personal information we will revise this privacy policy to reflect that.
We use the information we collect to provide the products and services you request; improve our products and services; improve our website and mobile apps; operate our Godfather’s Pizza® Loyalty Club ; administer contests and sweepstakes; create and update customer profiles; conduct internal marketing research and data analytics; notify you about special offers and promotions; general statistical studies; security and safety; protect our rights and property; respond to your inquiries; and process transactions with you.
If any provision of this Section 11 of our Privacy Policy is inconsistent with any other provision in the Privacy Policy, this Section 11 will control for California residents.
